Colca Full Day – $28/person
General
This is by far a customer favorite, giving you a taste of Andean culture while touring some of the most sought out views in the Caylloma region.
Itinerary
– You will be picked up from your hotel or hostel in Arequipa’s city center between 3:00am and 3:30am and drive north to Chivay where you will eat a simple breakfast.
– We then head west to the Condor Cross located on the rim of the Colca Canyon. You will have one hour to enjoy the views and look for condors.
– We will make our way back towards Chivay making stops at Antawilke to see pre-Incan terraces, a small colonial town called Maca, and the Yanque hotsprings to bathe in the hot pools for one hour.
– Upon arriving to Chivay we will stop at a local restaurant to eat a buffet lunch.
– We then head back towards Arequipa making two final stops along the way at Patapama and the Salinas and Aguada Blanca National Reserve.
You will be dropped off two block from the Plaza de Armas around 5:30pm.

National Reserve

We will make a 15-20 minute stop in the Salinas and Aguada Blanca National Reserve to see Vicuñas and other wildlife in their natural habitat.
Arequipa

We will pick you up from your hotel located in Arequipa's city center.
Andes Lookout

This lookout is situated at ~4900m and provides an impressive view of the Andes mountain range and Volcanoes in the Arequipa region.
Chivay

Chivay is the capital of the Caylloma province. Here we will stop to eat breakfast and lunch. If you reserve the two day tour, you will have the opportunity to stay the night in Chivay and get to know this small Andean village.
Condor Cross

The Condor Cross is a lookout situated on the rim of the Colca Canyon. We stop for (1) one hour to enjoy the view and look for Andean condors! There is a condor nesting site nearby and it is very likely you will see some flying overhead or perched on nearby rocks.
La Calera Hotsprings

La Calera Hotsprings are a just short drive from Chivay and offer scenic mountain views. There are a total of five (5) pools of varying temperatures. You will have the opportunity to bathe for one (1) hour on the first day of the two day group tour.

Yanque Hotsprings

We make a one (1) hour stop at the Yanque hot springs during the Full Day tour. The rustic, man-made pools are situated outside along the Colca River. There are several pools of varying temperatures to choose from.
Colca Conventional Two Days – $40/person
General
This is another customer favorite, giving you a bit more time to explore Chivay and experience life in a small Andean village.
Itinerary
Day 1
– You will be picked up from your hotel or hostel in Arequipa’s city center between 7:30am and 8:00am and drive north to Chivay making two stops along the way: at Patapama lookout and in the Salinas and Aguada Blanca National Reserve.
– Upon arriving to Chivay, we will eat lunch and you will have the opportunity to leave your belongings in your hotel.
– At 3pm, we have an optional excursion to the La Calera hotsprings where you will have one (1) hour to bathe in the hot baths.
– Dinner will be served at a local restaurant and afterwards you will retire to your hotel for the night.
Day 2
– After eating breakfast at your hotel the following morning, we will pick you up to drive two (2) hours to the Condor Cross, a lookout located on the rim of the canyon. Here you will have one (1) hour to enjoy the view and look for condors flying overhead.
– We will make our way back towards Chivay making stops at Antawilke to see pre-Incan terraces and a small colonial town called Maca.
– Upon arriving to Chivay we will stop at a local restaurant to eat lunch before heading back towards Arequipa. Upon arrival, you will be dropped off two blocks from the Plaza de Armas around 4:00pm.
